Welcome to the instruction page To submit your site, go to the webring add-a-site-queue. You will be notified by email as soon as your site is approved and added to the webring. This webring is co-managed by Rachel and Dave (Scoop0901). The Background The idea of the webring came about after I announced that I had created my bookmarks page in early March 1998. Nearly 1,000 people have visited it within a few weeks, and many wrote, thanking me for creating it. The original page was something I created in about ten minutes, so it was clear that a need existed for such pages. If you have a lot of bookmarks, such as numbering in the hundreds, that are journalism and research-related and you have created a web page containing the links, then please feel free to join our ring. To read more about webrings and how they work, please go to http://www.webring.org. A sample of the display that shows for the Journalism and Research Resources Webring is shown below:
Once you have been added to the ring, go to the Member Tools section on the left side of the page and click on Get Navigation Bar. You will be taken to a page that looks similar to the example below. About halfway down the page, you will find the webring HTML coding (JavaScript) that you will need to add to your site.
