The Mike Wallace
Warning
Or it could also be the
60 Minutes Warning or
the
Your Life is Going to be Hell
Warning
- You are talking
to a journalist.
- You have the
right to remain silent.
- Anything you say
will be used against you.
- You have the
right to a spokesman if you should choose.
- If you can't
afford a spokesman, you're on your own, Buddy.
- If you decide not
to remain silent, we have the right to pick only the
portion of your statement that suits our needs.
- And we have the
right to go to any lengths to find the person with the
point of view we favor and blow you out of the water.
- If you decide to
remain silent, we have the right to make you look as if
you have something to hide.
- If you decide to
run away from the camera, we have the right to chase you.
- If you hide from
the camera, we have the right to stalk you and ambush you.
- If you regret
what you said on camera, you have the right to ask us not
to use it.
- But we have the
right to use it now and argue later.
- Anyway you look
at it, you're screwed.
- You have the
right to hire an attorney and sue us.
- Do you have any
questions or comments?
